The Waterfront at Albany project continues to move ahead. The following dates outline the work which has been completed to date and a schedule of upcoming milestones:

• 2008
  • March - Pedestrian Bridge officially opened to the public
  • November - Civil works Stage 1 completed (remediation and subdivision of land) ; construction of Entertainment Centre commenced
• 2009
  • July - Commencement of civil works on Stage 2
• 2010
  • April – release of marketing for the hotel and short stay apartments site
  • July-August - Completion of Entertainment Centre
  • September – Completion and commissioning of Entertainment Centre, to be operated by the City of Albany.  Formal opening to be advised for later in the year.
  • December 2010 - Completion of Stage 2 civil works
• 2011
  • February - Harbour pens constructed and handed over to the Department of Transport for public use
  • Titles to freehold lots available
