Welcome
A small coastal town in the heart of Western Australia’s iconic South West tourism region, Gracetown has a natural beauty enjoyed by locals and visitors from all around the world.
It is also a town without a formal reticulated water or sewerage system, a restricted telecommunications network and a limited power supply.
We are attempting to create a second half to the town (140 residential lots) but also look more holistically to install a fully reticulated sewerage and deliver recycled water and power solutions for not only our new development but the whole town.
Improving water use
Designed to complement individual households’ rainwater tank supply, a proposed recycled water system will deliver non-drinking water directly into households for laundry, toilet and garden use and also provide water for fire fighting.
In combination with the mandated use of water efficient designs and household appliances, these water saving measures could potentially reduce average household water consumption by up to 50% when compared to the traditional Perth home.
Helping residents reduce power use
Renewable energies will power the proposed new wastewater plant and residential homes – ultimately aiming reduce traditional household energy consumption by up to 50% when compared to the traditional Perth home.
On this website you'll find all the information you'll need to know on what's proposed for Gracetown, and more.
